Information We Collect
We collect information to make the Services functional, secure, and personalized. This information falls into three main categories:
1. Information You Provide Voluntarily
- Registration and Profile Data: You may choose to add optional details to your profile, such as your username, age, gender, profile photo, bio, and interests (e.g., "hiking," "photography"). For account verification and communication purposes, you may also provide your phone number—this helps secure your account (e.g., two-factor authentication) and allows us to send important updates via SMS. These details help improve our matching algorithm, connecting you with users who share similar hobbies.
- Communications and Content: Any content you create or share through the Services, including text messages, photos, videos, voice notes, or reactions in one-on-one chats or group conversations. This content is stored to maintain chat history and enable seamless communication.
- Support Inquiries: If you reach out to our support team at textiletribune@gmail.com, we’ll collect your email address, account username (if applicable), and any details you share (e.g., descriptions of issues, screenshots) to resolve your request. We keep records of these communications for 12 months to ensure consistent support.
2. Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the Services
- Activity Data: Details about how you interact with the Services, such as:
- Features you use (e.g., video calls, swiping for matches, viewing profiles)
- Frequency and duration of your sessions (e.g., "30 minutes per day, 5 days a week")
- Matching activity (e.g., number of matches made, conversations started, response rates)
- Content engagement (e.g., photos viewed, messages sent/received, reactions used)
- Device Information: Data about the device you use to access the Services, including:
- Hardware details (model, manufacturer, screen size)
- Software information (operating system, version, system language)
- Unique identifiers (e.g., Device ID – a unique string assigned to your device by its manufacturer, used to identify your device for service optimization and security; Advertising ID, which helps personalize non-intrusive ads without identifying you directly)
- Network data (IP address, network type—Wi-Fi or cellular, service provider, connection speed)
- App-specific data (Juicy Hub version, crash reports, feature usage logs)
- Permission-Based Data: When you use specific features, we may request access to:
- Camera: Required for video calls and taking profile photos—we only access the camera when you’re actively using these features.
- Microphone: Needed for audio in video calls or voice messages—activated only during use.
- Storage: Used to cache photos, videos, or chat history for faster loading, especially on older devices.
3. Information from Third Parties
- Social login providers (Google, Apple, Facebook) supply basic profile info.
- Trusted partners may provide aggregated/anonymized data to improve services.
